Women With Attitude at CWCC

Will be exhibiting some of my work at the Central Wisconsin Cultural Center in Wisconsin Rapids for their Women With Attitude show. It runs from April 6th to May 10th and is located at 240 Johnson Street in Wisconsin Rapids.

My friends Kate Bradley and Terry Stanley , gallery & school director at the Jack Richeson School of Art , will have work there also.

There is a public reception on April 13th from 5-7pm.

The Dorothy Heralds won two MAMAs

My son's band, The Dorothy Heralds ,won two awards last night at the Madison Area Music Awards. Best Classical and Best Electronic. Keep an "ear" out for them.

Ascension Mural

This is a mural I did for the nursery at Ascension Lutheran Church in De Pere. It is located at the corner of Libal and Broadview, just south of Hwy 172. Stop in and ask to see it if you are in the area. If you click on the picture you should be able to see more detail. I am especially proud of the puppet theatre. I called it " Give Us A Hand" productions. I thought it rather clever. But then I dont get out much :-)

Department of Administration exhibit Mar13-May5

Finally got the paperwork for the DoA exhibit this week. The DoA is located at 101 East Wilson in Madison, Wisconsin, which is where the Wiscsonsin Arts Board is located. The exhibit will run from March 13th to May 5th.

Financial icons

Read about an artist on the east coast who does paintings of Alan Greenspan. Apparently is doing pretty well with the idea.

Thought I would give it a try, but with someone else. This is suppose to be Neil Cavuto --- who is NOT a Greenspan fan, yet considered a financial icon by some. Not quite sure what I am going to do with it, but at minimum I thought I would paint a series of men with ties.

Squirrel cabinet

A commissioned piece. The client found the geese at TJ Maxx. I painted them with a crackle finish and attached the gold balls so they would fit under the dresser legs.
