Guess it has been awhile since I last posted. Got a short turnaround illustration assignment with a firm deadline. So it held my attention for awhile.
Got a gocco machine for Christmas. Have put out some inquiries about my printer as to whether or not the ink contains carbon. Could test a screen, but they are expensive. So just going to work with what I know for now -- tho I might be able to test my epson ink on an outer edge.
Made up some background patterns in photoshop. Then going to use the special gocco pen for a screen to outline my design -- which I will print over the epson prints. Or so that is my plan.

I have been tagged.
Well, I have been tagged by The Foo and Denise from Bellis Studios. One was for 7 facts, the other for 8. I will just combine them.
7/8 Random/weird facts about me.
1. I played the sousaphone in high school. Fortunately I got to use the fiberglass one when marching. Those things are quite heavy.
2. While I paint pictures of martini drinking ladies, I dont drink except for a little wine --- could count the number of glasses I have had this year on my fingers and still have several fingers left to count.
3. I rode on the aircraft carrier Enterprise back in the 70's on a three day trip from Alameda, CA to Bremerton, WA when it went into drydock.
4. If there is any chocolate in the house, I must eat it.
5. I met Governor Rudy Perpich from Minnesota when he came to visit our community college in Cloquet, MN back in the late 80's. His nickname was Governor Goofy.
6. I ran into a ladder when I was in elementary school so hard I ended up with a lazy eye and wore glasses for many years.
7. I have more gray hair than my husband who is a few years older.
8. I used to sell shoes in a department store.
